Our Company's Core Values

Since our foundation in 1960, it has been part of our mission to focus on the continuous growth and development of our company culture. Our culture can be defined as a set shared values we believe in, attitudes about the work we do, where we see Associated going forward, and how we’re going to get there. Our values reflect the behaviors that shape how we work with each other and with our partners.

Each member of our team is encouraged to live by these principles. Associated will base hiring decisions, promotions and overall contribution to the company on these three Core Values.

  • Core Values logo for "No Excuse Devotion". An icon of a person with a shield in front of it, with a checkmark and two stars inside the shield.

    No Excuse Devotion

No Excuse Devotion means you are reliable, dependable, trustworthy, honest, consistent, driven and take ownership. When something doesn’t go as planned, the only finger to point is at myself and I take it upon myself to solve the issue or remove the obstacle. In other words, “I got this, count on me to get it completed correctly and on time.”

  • Core Values logo for "Selfless & Easy to Work With"

Selfless & Easy to Work With

Selfless & Easy to Work With means you are approachable, have a positive attitude, and treat others with respect. You are genuine, fun, personable and a true team player. Possessing these qualities and demonstrating them day-to-day make a work environment that people want to be a part of. It creates a place where people enjoy working with each other.

  • Core Values logo for "Creative Problem Solvers". A white and red box has a thought bubble above it, containing a lightbulb with a red gear inside the bulb.

    Creative Problem Solvers

To be a Creative Problem Solver means you have knowledge, wisdom, intellect and are a dynamic thinker. You gain these qualities through experience. We can teach anyone skills and develop knowledge in our teams, however, wisdom is different. Wisdom is the application of knowledge. This comes through an individual’s effort and drive. No one can develop wisdom in you, but you.

  • Associated Cares logo

    Associated Cares

At Associated, one of the ways we also manifest and measure the success of our Core Values is how we can impact the lives of those in our local communities and how we can strengthen these bonds.

Throughout the years, we have supported a number of charities and nonprofits through donations and volunteerism. Associated continues to pursue various corporate social responsibility activities.
