During these unusual times for all of us, Associated and The Raymond Corporation family appreciate the support of our customers more than ever. A strong, connected community is what keeps us going during impactful moments such as these.
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about COVID-19 and how it is impacting our world. For Associated, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers and communities and making the necessary localized adjustments to our work and our operations.
We continue to prioritize our employee’s well-being with the utmost care and concern, while respecting Associated’s designation as an essential business that is crucial to your business and the nation’s supply chain. We are taking several precautionary measures out of an abundance of caution:
- Raymond’s manufacturing facility in Greene is on a one-week temporary shutdown as of March 23, 2020, with a reduced production staff.
- We have instituted telework and alternative work-schedule arrangements for employees whose job duties allow work-from-home.
- In an effort to reduce face to face contact to those that are business essential, we will use all available methods to support your sales, service and product support requirements virtually when and where possible via phone, email and text.
- We are following all precautionary steps to maintain required levels of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our facilities, including social distancing protocols.
- We are proactively engaging our technicians to follow CDC guidelines, implement cleaning best practices, and to follow your internal COVID-19 procedures when on-site in the workplace and while visiting customers for any service and maintenance needs.
- We all have a special responsibility to assist in keeping the supply chain running so that food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other essential goods keep moving. This effort is critical to fighting this epidemic. We remain open to serve your essential business needs during these unprecedented times with flexible solutions such as rentals, virtual and in-person service, maintenance, parts distribution e-learning, and optimization efforts. We will use all available methods to support your sales, service and product support requirements virtually when and where possible via phone, email and text.
This is an ever-evolving situation. We remain committed to following the guidance of the federal, state and local governments, as well as the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While we all find ourselves in uncharted territory, we are committed to your success and will quickly communicate any necessary updates.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We will persevere and weather this storm together.
Sincerely,
Tim Combs
